Hi, I’m Leanne—an explorer, adventurer, and proud mom to two amazing preschoolers! Based in the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada, our family is passionate about immersing ourselves in new experiences and embracing the world around us. With my little ones at such a formative age, we’ve taken the opportunity to venture on longer trips to nurture their curiosity and expand their horizons.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology, and later transitioned into a fulfilling career as a Registered Massage Therapist (Ontario). My academic journey sparked a lifelong interest in Child Psychology and Development, which continues to shape my parenting philosophy today. I’m a firm believer in hands-on, sensory-rich learning approaches, like Montessori, and strive to create opportunities for my children to engage with the world in meaningful and creative ways. By sharing diverse, real-world experiences with them, I hope to foster healthy growth and inspire their imaginations to flourish.

Our travel style is all about balance. The first part of our journey is spent immersing ourselves in local culture—taking classes, engaging in cultural activities, and truly living like locals. Usually we dedicate the second part is dedicated to relaxation, where we shift gears and savor a more traditional vacation experience.
Goals for our trips:
- Learn a language (preferably Mandarin/Spanish)
- Develop a love of outdoor activities/nature
- Find classes/places where we learn about how things work or come to be in the local region
- Connect with local communties
I’m diving into the exciting world of blogging to document our travel adventures! My favorite activities while traveling include scuba diving, joining local cooking classes, embarking on adventurous excursions, and connecting with the local communities.
Before becoming a parent, I embarked on journeys to destinations like:
- China – Shanghai, Guangdong, Nanning, Hong Kong
- Mexico – Mexico City, Monterry, Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, Los Cabos, Roadtripping through 9 Provinces
- Cuba – Varadaro
- Dominican Republic – Punta Cana (resort only)
- Belize – Hopkins
- Spain – Barcelona, Mallorca
- Italy – Rome, Venice
Why I Blog
Embarking on this blogging journey marks the beginning of an exciting chapter—one where I get to share our story and, hopefully, inspire others to turn their daydreams into reality. My goal is to create a life of freedom, one that lets me work from anywhere while writing about the passions that bring me joy.

Massage therapy is not just my career—it’s my passion. I truly enjoy helping individuals find relief from discomfort and reconnecting with their bodies on a deeper level. Massage provides a wonderful opportunity to shift focus from our overactive minds to becoming more attuned to the sensations and needs of our physical selves. Interestingly, being a therapist has heightened my own awareness of the tension and tight muscles within my body. This constant self-awareness motivates me to explore effective ways to release stress and care for my own areas of concern, ensuring I can continue to give my best to those I serve.
